DARI

Duxbury for All is working with Catholic Charities to support an Afghan refugee family to Duxbury. We call this DARI, which stands for Duxbury Afghan Resettlement Initiative. The family arrived here in early December, and thanks to a tremendous team of volunteers, they are progressing very well. Recently, the mother gave birth to a new son; both are doing well. In addition to securing housing, DARI has found employment for the father and school placement for the children, as well as English-language classes and full medical and dental check-ups for all family members.
