DfA Responds to Misinformation about Critical Race Theory

Duxbury for All responded to misinformation being spread about Critical Race Theory (CRT) with a letter to the Editor of the Duxbury Clipper. In the Letter, our Steering Committee member Bruce Rutter refuted myths about CRT, explained our position on the need for children to learn about the origins of bias in America, and reiterated our support for the work of the School Department in this area “We applaud the efforts of the school administration to bring this kind of learning into the classroom, and trust that by listening to all viewpoints, any curriculum enhancements will be aimed at opening minds, not indoctrinating them.”
