In this webinar, which is free and open to all, Historic deerfield’s Public Historian Barbara Mathews will speak with Witness Stones Project co-founder Dennis Culliton and board chair Pat Wilson Pheanious. Inspired by the Stolpersteine project in Germany, the Witness Stones Project began in Guilford, Connecticut, in 2017 to restore the history and honor the humanity of the enslaved individuals who helped build our communities.
